Cells don't have opinions, but the body does keep score in ways you can feel. Anxiety lives in the jaw and the shoulders; most people can locate a bad week physically before they can describe it.
So the sentence is doing something reasonable in unreasonable language. Emotional states are partly postural — hunched and shallow-breathing isn't a neutral position, it's an input.
And it runs both directions, which is the useful part.
Sit up, drop the shoulders, unlock the jaw, take one slow breath. Nothing mystical. Just fewer signals telling your brain something's wrong.
