Day three of any decent holiday is usually when it surfaces. Not day one, which goes on unwinding, and not day two. Day three, when the sleep has caught up and nothing is required of you, and you notice you feel entirely fine for no listed reason.
Which suggests the baseline is decent and mostly gets buried rather than being absent. Tiredness, noise and low-grade worry sit on top of it like weather over a landscape. The landscape does not have to be built. It has to be uncovered, which is slower and much less heroic work.
Try removing something today rather than adding something.
