Worthiness gets treated like a wage — as though you have to put in enough suffering first, and then the good body and the quiet mind are released to you.
Look at how that plays out. The appointment postponed twice because someone else needed the slot more. The lunch skipped because the work was not finished. The rest deferred until it has been earned.
Nobody is keeping that ledger but you. There is no queue you are cutting. Take the appointment, eat the lunch, and leave the deserving question unanswered. It was never a real question.
