Affirmation to Healing I choose to always be a fighter and fight my way to healing and restoration.

I choose to always be a fighter and fight my way to healing and restoration.

The fighting almost never looks like fighting. It looks like getting up for a nine o'clock appointment on the third bad night in a row. Swallowing something that makes you feel worse before it makes you feel better.

There is no crowd for that and no adrenaline either. It is closer to what soldiers describe than to what films show: long stretches of tedium, punctuated by small decisions nobody witnesses.

Which means a day spent doing very little can still be a day spent fighting. The tally is not kept in visible effort. It is kept in turning up again.
