I offer my time and skills to help improve the community.


Nearly all of it is chairs. Putting them out, stacking them, finding the key, chasing three people about the risk assessment.

Whoever has run the Saturday club for nine years knows this. There was no founding moment and there's no recognition; there is a group chat of eleven people and a cupboard only one person can open. The place exists because of that, and would stop existing within about two months if they moved away.

Communities are held up by an unglamorous few doing repetitive administration. Joining them is less inspiring than it sounds and more consequential than it looks.
