Look at every obstacle as a new lesson and try to take advantage of it.

Lessons rarely present themselves on time. In the middle of the thing you are not a student. You are wet and cold and trying to get the door open.

The taking-advantage part can wait. What tends to happen is that eighteen months later somebody describes a problem to you and you hear yourself giving an answer you did not know you owned. That is where it went. It was being written down the whole time, in handwriting you could not read yet.
