Bodies get shaped by what they have done. A swimmer's shoulders, a climber's fingers, the slight lean of someone who carried a child on one hip for two years. None of these converge on a single shape, because none of those were the same life.

Comparison assumes one target, with everyone standing at different distances from it. What's actually in the room is different equipment for different histories. A mirror only ever reports surface. It has no access to the hundred things going right underneath it.
