Archers have a rule: aim small, miss small. Aim at the target and you get the target's edge. Aim at one ring, one spot inside it, and everything tightens.
Most goals are stated at target size. Grow the business. Get in shape. There is nothing to aim at, so the arrow goes wherever the wind takes it.
Shrink whatever you are calling your goal until the aim point has a number and a date attached. Then stop watching the target and watch your form. The arrow arrives on its own.
