Adults tend to run short on objects rather than short on capacity. The diary fills with obligations and nothing goes into it that anyone would count down to.

Put one thing in. Small is fine: a gig, a long walk somewhere unfamiliar, a friend booked for a Saturday six weeks out. Energy needs something to point at.
