Affirmation to Stress and Anxiety I am resilient; I will get through this difficult time.

I am resilient; I will get through this difficult time.

Every cargo ship has a line painted on the hull showing how deep it is permitted to sit in the water.

Fully loaded, a ship rides low. It looks wrong from the quayside — too much of it under, not enough above — and it is in exactly the condition it was built for.

Resilience gets imagined as riding high. It looks much more like this: made to carry, currently carrying, and low in the water precisely because of it.

None of which is comfortable. None of which means the vessel is failing.
